50 weeks
PHOTO SESSIONS BEGIN MARCH 1, 2025. MODELS NEEDED.
I have taken on the challenge of photographing 50 working dogs in 50 weeks, to create a magazine that celebrates the incredible contributions of these canine heroes. The magazine will shine a spotlight on working dogs—ranging from service dogs and security dogs to police and military dogs—herding and farm dogs and everything in between, focusing on their unwavering dedication and the important roles they play.
To make this vision a reality, I am seeking working and service dogs who are making a difference! Whether it's emotional support dogs, police dogs, or herding dogs, I’m looking for a diverse mix of breeds, sizes, and jobs to showcase the variety of ways dogs serve and support us.
how it works:
step 1: the shoot
• You'll meet up with Tricia Charles at your preselected date and time with your dog(s)
• The mini-photography session is completely free and will take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. Tricia will ask you a few questions about your dog’s story and what they do so that she can write up a short piece for your canine hero’s feature in the magazine.
There is always more than one image to select from for the challenge. You are also given the option to select more than one image. Details of all of the options available are sent as soon as your challenge slot is confirmed, so you can have a chance to review everything before the selection process!
step 2: the selection
• Next, it's time to select the image of your dog that you want to have included in the magazine. The selection is completed in a conference room, allowing you to see the photos on a big screen!
• You will also receive a digital copy of the challenge photograph as a thank you, sized perfectly for social media!
step 3: the magazine
• When the challenge is complete, Tricia will create a special Magazine to bring awareness of our local dog heroes.
• You will be given first dibs on a copy, of course!
